AS Monaco football chief Paul Mitchell is a target for Chelsea.

The Sun says the former Tottenham sporting director is being lined up for a return to London by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.

Key to the move is the imminent appointment of former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.

While his friendship with Pochettino is a major attraction, Boehly is also aware of Mitchell's extensive network.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United were linked with him last summer.
