AS Monaco coach Thierry Henry insists Chelsea ace Eden Hazard deserves the Ballon d'Or.

The former Belgium assistant coach is adamant Hazard was the best performer at the summer's World Cup.

Asked for his tip, Henry declared: "It would be inadmissible if a French player or Eden Hazard did not take it.

"Hazard was the best player in the World Cup by far.

"Logic says it will be a Frenchman. Let's be chauvinists, maybe it's like that and that's very good for French football."
