AS Monaco have accepted an offer from Chelsea for Axel Disasi.

The two clubs have agreed a fee of €45m for the France international defender.

Disasi has been eager to leave ASM this summer and was being linked with Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Chelsea have made their move after Wesley Fofana suffered a serious knee injury a fortnight ago.

with ASM, Disasi has made 118 appearances, having joined them from Reims in August 2020.
