Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi has jumped to the defence of AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli.
Pioli is again under pressure at Milan as the team stumbles.
He said, "Milan and Juventus are highly criticised by the media, in particular the two coaches: when Milan don't win, Pioli's cycle always seems to come to an end; worse for Allegri, who is asked to leave every day because the team, according to commentators and fans, wins by playing badly, but above all because he would have had to keep up with Inter, not being involved in European competitions.
"Pioli could only convince the fans if he won the championship, which obviously he cannot do, and perhaps it wouldn't even be enough...?"
