Former AC Milan chief Massimiliano Mirabelli says they've fumbled Gigio Donnarumma's new contract talks.
The goalkeeper's deal expires in June and Mirabelli says negotiations shouldn't have been allowed to drag on so long.
He told TMW: “Donnarumma and the renewal with Milan? Regardless of how it turns out, it has already ended badly. He is Milan's heritage, if you manage to negotiate towards the end you get hurt.
"Many players on the expiry? We must keep the brake and make it clear that those who command the game are the clubs and not the agents.
"Clubs have all the tools to lead the game. And it has been demonstrated."
