Former Leeds United defender Danny Mills has heaped praise on an Arsenal summer signing.

Mills, talking on Sky Sports News, claimed that summer arrival Declan Rice is only going to get better.

The England international scored a vital goal in a 3-1 win over Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend.

Mills said: "He's absolutely superb. In terms of England players, we don't have too many options in that holding midfield player role.

“Kalvin Phillips isn't playing that much football at Manchester City.

“Obviously he's been fantastic in the past. There aren't too many others in that position. He will get better and better. He will make Arsenal better."
