Messi assures PSG over new contract talks

Argentina superstar Lionel Messi has given Paris St Germain assurances that he wants to stay beyond this season.

The attacking midfielder is out of contract in the summer, having signed a two-year deal when he left Barcelona.

Messi had been linked to Inter Miami in the United States during the World Cup, but those claims were denied.

Per the Daily Mail, winning the World Cup has not dampened Messi's desire for more club success.

He believes that he can still contribute at the highest level for some time to come.

The 35-year-old has given his word to PSG that he will renew his deal, and continue to be a teammate of international rival Kylian Mbappe.
