Arsenal legend Paul Merson says Harry Redknapp is a superior tactical manager compared to Arsene Wenger.

Former Tottenham and West Ham boss Redknapp was renowned for his negotiating skills, but Merson, who played under Wenger with the Gunners, believes the Frenchman would win the league if he possessed Redknapp's tactical nous.

"People say he's a wheeler-dealer and it's so disrespectful," he said on A League Of Their Own.

"Tactically, he's one of the best I've worked with. If Arsene Wenger had Harry Redknapp's tactical nous, Arsenal would win the league."
