Memphis Depay is digging in his heels at Barcelona.

Sport says Barca are willing to let him go for nothing in January, but Depay wants to stay and earn the rest of his salary.

He would only accept an exit to a Champions League club, where he could have a key role. Otherwise he will wait until June when his contract expires.

Memphis refused to leave over the summer, with Juventus unable to afford his demands.

The Dutchman knows that Barcelona have doubted his professionalism during his injury recovery. But he has no current interest in cutting short his stay.
