The fixture is part of the Chevrolet Brazil Global Tour, which sees the Seleção playing high-profile fixtures against other international teams in major cities across the world, and has been arranged by sports marketing firm TLA Worldwide.
The game will be seen by both sides as a warm-up fixture before the next round of Conmebol qualifying ties for the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia. Brazil currently top the standings while Argentina are struggling somewhat, finding themselves in fifth place and facing a potential play-off to reach the finals.
