Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur believes the current form of the team will enable them to avoid relegation this season.
The Latics still sit second bottom on the table but have plenty of scope with improved performances including a very unlucky 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Saturday.
With six matches remaining, however, McArthur has belief that Roberto Martinez's side can still pull themselves out of danger.
"We've been fantastic in the last seven or eight games, and were so unlucky at Stamford Bridge not to get another result.
"It was a tough afternoon, but I thought we played well once again. We've conceded two goals that appear to have been offside."
He added: "But we won't let it get to us - we didn't let their opener get to us and went on to get a deserved equaliser.
"The last goal was so disappointing having done so well, but we'll dust ourselves down and get ready for Manchester United.
"They're a fantastic side who are top of the table because they win games, but we'll be looking to impose ourselves on the game and we'll certainly not play with any fear.""I think that so long as we keep producing these performances, the points will come," McArthur told the Evening Post ahead of Wednesday's clash with Manchester United.
