PSG star Kylian Mbappe is demanding management buy big this summer.

Mbappe has informed PSG he will not be triggering the 12 month in his contract, so leaving them with the prospect of selling him this summer or allowing him to leave for nothing next year.

The situation has seen Mbappe linked with Real Madrid, while Manchester United have also been mentioned as a destination should Sheikh Jassim's takeover be successful.

Mbappe told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "For a player like me, the goal is to win everything. And we knew that at PSG there were shortcomings that sooner or later we were going to end up paying for.

"I didn't say I wanted to be sold to Real Madrid or want to leave, but only that I won't activate the option on the extra year.

"With PSG, there has never been any talk of a renewal. Messi gone? Bad news, he now needs to be replaced."
