Inter Milan boss Walter Mazzarri has questioned the mentality of his players after their 2-0 defeat to struggling Parma.
Paolo de Ceglie struck both goals for the Ducali.
Mazzarri said: "It seems we are unable to make that step up in quality. When it comes time to change gear, we stall. That is something we need to work on.
"If you are to challenge for the top of the table, you must realise that every game in Serie A will find strong opponents ready to sit back and counter, making life difficult for you. We need to be consistent and not stop ever.
"I know what I have to do, though it's not something I intend to say on television. This is a difficult moment in terms of injuries, that is not an alibi, but I must now try to work on the minds."
