Mauro Icardi has cast fresh doubt on his future at Inter Milan.

In a passionate social media post, Icardi questioned the support the club is showing him.

He stated: "It is in the most difficult moments that one demonstrates true love. And it was in those moments that I decided to stay at Inter, with Inter. When I heard that my goals could help Inter to be stronger in many things. Stronger than the Financial Play Fair, stronger in our difficulties, when everyone judged the team badly. At Inter. With Inter. And despite everything, I always decided to stay, for love of these colors. I refused offers that many professionals would have hardly refused.

"For love of the colors nerazzurri, because there is only Inter.

"I always disapproved those who, at the first opportunity, try to leave the club. I respected the tifosi, my teammates, the club and all the coaches I saw passing. I collaborated with the club, on and off the field, to recruit other players, showing them how to achieve our goals with passion. I know what love is for Inter, and the Interi tifosi know it because they saw how much I suffered, cried, struggled and finally how happy I was for those colors.

"I do not know if right now there is love and respect towards Inter and me on the part of some who make decisions. I do not know if there is any desire on their part to act and solve things for the sake of Inter.
