Germany World Cup winner Lothar Matthaus has taken fresh aim at Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
Matthaus has been critical of Kroos after a poor Euro 2020 from Germany.
He continued with his attack yesterday, stating: "Personally, I have nothing against [Kroos], but I do not agree with his style of play.
"We could see in the European Championship that it is not only about the speed of the player, but also [the speed] of the ball.
"He does it quite well with one or two contacts, but when he passes the ball, he loses speed again because there is hardly any gain in space and the rhythm slows down.
