Matteo Brighi is demanding a pay-rise from Roma.

"We are waiting for Roma to keep their word given at the start of the season," agent Vanni Puzzolo told ilromanista.

"After this year in which Matteo gave his best, he ought to be rewarded.

"Brighi is one of the lowest-earning Roma players even though he played regularly and got more games than anyone this season.

"I expect his contract to be adjusted to his real market value, which over the past season has doubled."
