Manchester United up and coming talent Mateo Mejía has signed a new deal at the club.

The 20-year-old was out of contract at the end of June, but has put pen to paper on an extension.

Per the Manchester Evening News, Mejia could now go out on loan to get regular first team football.

The Colombian has been at United since signing from Real Zaragoza in 2019.

Despite issues with injuries, he has impressed at youth level and is someone United rate highly.

He scored two goals and managed four assists in 15 games for their Premier League 2 side.
