Nottingham Forest are ready to fight French side Marseille for Besiktas defender Romain Saiss.
The former Wolves stopper is being linked with a move back to the Premier League.
Per Nottinghamshire Live, a bid of around £3.4 million may have already gone in for Saiss.
However, Marseille are also very interested, which could lead to a bidding war.
Turkiye Gazetesi states that Besiktas are not too keen to sell Saiss, as he had a good season.
They would welcome a bidding war to raise any fee they would get for the experienced centre half.
