Olympique Marseille president Pablo Longoria has refused to financially consider signing Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo this month.
That's according to local reporter Alexandre Jacquin, who recalled a conversation with Longoria about Aston Villa midfielder Philippe Coutinho last season.
He told Bande Passante: "Last year at the same time, moreover Pablo Longoria laughed about it also, until it started to wear him out, we were talking about Coutinho at OM. At that time, they couldn't do Coutinho.
"And Longoria had answered me: 'If I want to make Coutinho, I have to sell the stadium. How to pay Coutinho? We have to sell the Commanderie, the stadium...'
"And Cristiano Ronaldo is even worse..."
