Olympique Marseille chief Andoni Zubizarreta has paid tribute to Manchester United hero Patrice Evra.

Evra was sacked by OM last season after kicking a fan while in Portugal.

But Zubizarreta said, "The player who impressed me the most at OM? Pat Evra was a worker ... He arrived first, left last, talked about nutrition ... He wanted to do everything!

"It was beautiful, he was the energy of the team.

"Even at his age, he arrived with an incredible iron will."
