France striker Djibril Cisse looks set to seal a move to Marseille after the French club reached "an agreement in principle" with Liverpool.
However, the 25-year-old hitman now looks likely to sign a four-year deal with the Mediterranean club.
A statement on Marseille website, read: "As well as signing Boudewijn Zenden, Marseille have also reached an agreement in principle with Liverpool for the transfer of Djibril Cisse."
He quickly indicated he felt at home at Marseille - he was born in nearby Arles - and had made it clear his intention to make the deal permanent.
