Ryan Tunnicliffe hopes to stake a first team claim during Manchester United's overseas tour.
The absence of the likes of Wayne Rooney, Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs, Nemanja Vidic, David De Gea, Rafael, Nani, Phil Jones and Danny Welbeck will open the door for some of the youngsters.
"There are a lot of players away with those that have been at the Euros so there are not many regular first-team players training but it doesn't really matter to me," Tunnicliffe explained to ManUtd.com.
"It's my chance to improve and prove I am capable of being there.
"I don't know about the tour. It's not far off but I don't think the squad has been announced yet. Hopefully, I will be going. It will be great experience as I could get more game-time and an opportunity to impress."
