Manchester United youngster Sonny Aljofree has put pen to paper on a contract.

The 18-year-old, who was born in Plymouth, has been a part of the academy for several years.

Aljofree has agreed to a first professional contract with the Old Trafford club this week.

Playing nine times in Premier League 2 last season, he will be hoping to put in even more time at that level next term.

Aljofree wrote on social media: "Very proud moment for me and my family to sign my first professional contract with Manchester United. The hard work continues."

The youngster also had the honor of being named the club's Scholar of the Year recently.
