Man Utd won't rush into permanent Falcao deal

Manchester United won't rush into a permanent deal for Radamel Falcao just yet.

The Daily Mail says the Colombian international, 28, joined United on the final day of the summer transfer window in a £6million loan deal from French side Monaco.

And United, in a bid to avoid the wage problem that saw Carlos Tevez leave the club and join rivals Manchester City in 2009, have agreed not only terms with Falcao, but also a £43.5million deal with the Principality club, if they decide upon making his loan move permanent at the end of the season.

United won't commit to his permanent signing until next summer however.

The club are still wary of the player's recent injury troubles - an eight-month cruciate ligament injury saw him miss the World Cup - and will decide on whether to complete the move next May.
