Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho upset England coach Gareth Southgate with his poor timekeeping.

It has emerged that Sancho was late for a team meeting ahead of England's World Cup qualifier away to Andorra in October 2021.

Southgate only starts meetings when all players are in attendance, so he and his squad were left to wait. Sancho was then left out of the next England squad, says the Telegraph.

The 22-year-old has been capped by England on 23 occasions since making his debut in 2018.

It's suggested Sancho was left out of England's World Cup squad on form.
