Manchester United are reluctant to lose midfielder Scott McTominay this summer.
The Scotland international is being linked with an end of season move to Newcastle United.
The Sun says United management have informed McTominay and would-be suitors that he is still a valuable member of the squad and they will not be pressured into a sale.
McTominay, 26, is under contract for another two years, with the club also having the option to extend by 12 months beyond that.
United will only at a starting price of £50m.
McTominay was again on the scoresheet yesterday for victory over Everton.
