Manchester United will attempt to lure West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino to Old Trafford during the January transfer window, according to reports.

The Sun is reporting the Red Devils are prepared to meet the Baggies' £25million asking price for the 22-year-old England U21 international.

It is understood Tottenham are also interested in signing Berahino after their bid to bring him to White Hart Lane during the summer failed.

Berahino, who was keen to leave The Hawthorns in the most recent transfer window, has scored three league goals for the Baggies this season.
