Manchester United could step into the race for Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

BILD says United could look to hijack a Liverpool move for Thiago this summer.

United and Liverpool are both options for the Bayern Munich midfielder who is expected to move at the end of the season.

According to information from Italian pundit, Tancredi Palmeri, personal terms have been struck with Liverpool and Bayern have now set their price to sell.

Taking to social media, Palmeri posted: "Liverpool have agreed personal terms with Thiago Alcántara.

"Bid to Bayern to be tabled in next days: approx €35m, Liverpool wanting to do €30m + €5m bonus."
