PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay will cost significantly more than that of a reported offer that came in for him recently.
Tottenham are believed to have offered newly-crowned Dutch Eredivisie champions PSV around £14.5million for the 21-year old Holland international but the club's technical director Marcel Brands says it will take much more to pry him away from the Philips Stadion.
"It will be much higher than the offer from Tottenham Hotspur," Brands said on Dutch TV. "He will be very expensive."
Depay, who has scored 20 goals in Holland's top flight this season, is a strong target for Manchester United who are managed by his former Oranje boss Louis van Gaal.
