Manchester United are attempting to close a deal for Sao Paulo star Lucas this week. The Mirror says United chief scout Jim Lawlor has flown to Brazil to tie up a £25million deal for Sao Paulo winger Lucas Moura.
Club secretary John Alexander could join him this weekend as the deposed champions attempt to make their third signing of the close-season - and see off last minute interest from Inter Milan.
With Chelsea appearing to have dropped their interest in Moura, United now only have to see off Inter to land their No.1 summer target.
