Man Utd squad rift over Ten Hag 'playing favourites'

Manchester United players are growing tired of manager Erik ten Hag's criticism, it is claimed.

The Manchester Evening News says some players are claiming the manager only calls out certain squad members, while others avoid the hairdryer.

There is also belief United are suffering with an unbalanced midfield.

The players believe they have been placed in a difficult position as they seek to carry out Ten Hag's instructions, with a feeling that the approach has been stunted due the absence of forward Antony.

The report comes in contrast to other sources that stated Ten Hag was given unanimous applause after a rallying speech following their home defeat to Brighton.
