Football scout Henk Grim has spoken of how poorly behaved Manchester United signing Memphis Depay was as a kid.

Grim recalled to Voetbal International one game he saw Depay playing for PSV B1 against FC Twente.

"I would have given him a zero if I could," said Grim.

"It was really terrible what that guy did against the fans, against his fellow players.

"A b***h of a kid. But yeah, well into middle adolescence."

But he added: "Through intensive supervision at PSV he ended up doing 'fairly' well. So you see: you should never write off young players!"
