Manchester City have received a massive boost in the form of striker Wilfried Bony who has recovered from an ankle injury before the upcoming trip to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Ivory Coast international has a solid scoring record against the Red Devils having netted in each of his three appearances for Swansea City.

Bony missed the defeat at Crystal Palace on Monday night but is on course to recover in time for Sunday's crunch clash.

Reports suggest that Bony is likely to replace Edin Dzeko in Manuel Pellegrini's starting eleven.
