Manchester United's online shop appear to have assigned an official number to Daniel James.
United online shop have confirmed James will wear the No 21.
No official announcement has been made over squad numbers for next season but the option for shirt printing on the club website gives James' number as Ander Herrera's old number.
The former Swansea City winger became manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first senior signing last month.
