Manchester United goalkeeper Nathan Bishop is not likely to join Sunderland this summer.
The Black Cats are eager to add a new shot stopper to their squad ahead of the new season.
Per The Athletic, United are not willing to send Bishop out on loan this season, at least at the moment.
The club are still in the process of signing Andre Onana from Inter Milan, having lost David De Gea.
With Dean Henderson also likely to leave, Bishop may even find himself as the club's no.2.
However, there is a chance he is available for loan later in the window, if United manage to secure two goalkeepers.
