Manchester United are prioritising a move for Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes this summer.
The Mirror says United will move for the Brazilian at the end of the season.
United see the 23-year-old as an ideal replacement for Casemiro, 32, who could leave this summer.
The English giants are said to be planning for a future midfield duo consisting of Gomes and Kobbie Mainoo, 18.
There is also interest in Gomes from Premier League rivals Newcastle and Tottenham.
Gomes is said to be valued at approximately £40m.
