Manchester United are pushing hard to convince Birmingham City teen Jude Bellingham about a move to Old Trafford.

Borussia Dortmund remain a threat to United's hopes of signing the midfielder.

But the Evening Standard reports United are pushing to sign Bellingham - and want him to compete for a starting berth right away.

It's claimed they've already communicated this to the teenager - who they consider to be a generational talent behind the scenes.

However, Dortmund are using the example of Jadon Sancho's rapid progress and success to tempt Bellingham to Germany.

Birmingham are seeking at least £35m to sell the youngster.
