Man Utd prioritise Brighton striker Ferguson as key '24 signing

Brighton striker Evan Ferguson tops Manchester United's 2024 shopping list, it has been revealed.

The Manchester Evening News says United are already planning for the next two transfer windows as they continue to rebuild manager Erik ten Hag's squad.

They want to strengthen at centre back, fullback, centre midfield and in attack.

United have plans for four new additions in 2024, with Ferguson a priority.

The Irishman's impact has convinced United chiefs to prepare a move for the 18 year-old, who struck a hat-trick in victory over Newcastle last week.

Interestingly, Ferguson has admitted he is a United fan. On his heroes growing up, he said: "I think I would've said Wayne Rooney because he even had the show 'Wayne Rooney Street Striker' so I used to watch him and I used to support United as a kid. I used to watch him and all that and he was just unbelievable."
