Manchester United are being linked with Borussia Monchengadbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
BILD says Sommer is nearing a move to United, which want him for the January market.
The Swiss, 33, comes off contract at Gladbach in June.
"Yann has an offer. We have had good conversations. There is a decision to be made after the World Cup," said Gladbach's sports manager Roland Virkus recently.
Gladbach should have already identified Jan Olschowsky, 21, as Sommer's long-term replacement. He is currently the club's reserve goalkeeper.
