Man Utd paying major loan fee for Fiorentina midfielder Amrabat

Manchester United and Fiorentina are set to finalise the transfer of Sofyan Amrabat to the Red Devils.

The two clubs are closing on an agreement over a deal for Amrabat, who impressed at the 2022 World Cup.

Amrabat, who only wanted to join United this summer to work with manager Erik ten Hag again, will initially move on loan.

Per The Mail, United will agree to an £8 million loan fee, along with an option to buy Amrabat later.

United can purchase the Moroccan for £21 million before the season concludes.

The deal does not include an obligation to buy, as United would have been in Financial Fair Play trouble.

Despite selling players in recent weeks, United have barely got this transfer over the line.
