Manchester United are enjoying the benefits of a formal partnership with Altrincham FC.
The partnership will see United place young players on-loan at the local National League club during the season.
However, the loan players in question will also continue to train regularly at United's Carrington training HQ.
The first to benefit from the alliance were Maxi Oyedele and Joe Hugill this season. The pair joined Altricham in January.
Oyedele scored four goals in 12 games, while Hugill scored once in seven.
