Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez will take on a club teammate in the World Cup final.
Martinez is used to lining up alongside Raphael Varane at club level, as they are first and second choice for United under manager Erik ten Hag.
However, the two will be rivals when they go head to head in the World Cup final on Sunday.
Martinez and Argentina beat Croatia in the semifinals, while France bested Morocco in the last four on Wednesday.
What is not clear is whether both players will be starting for their respective countries.
Martinez has been in and out of the Argentina side during this competition, not always starting under boss Lionel Scaloni.
