Manchester United's Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof both heaped praise on forward Marcus Rashford.

The United winger was in red hot form against Nottingham Forest, scoring and assisting in a 3-0 win.

Rashford was struggling to find his best form last season, but has looked rejuvenated under the guidance of coach Erik ten Hag.

“He's very confident." said Eriksen to club media.

“You can see that in the games, he is looking sharp and really on it. He looks like he is going to create something or he's going to score something every time.

"And I think the same [against Burnley]. I think some of the players or some of the time, you would not try and go and dribble between three guys and hope what happens. But he's in a mood and in a place where he can do that.

"Hopefully, he can continue what he is doing and take us further."

“He is a fantastic player." added Lindelof.

“When he plays with the confidence like this, it makes it even more difficult to defend against him.

"But he has been in great form, and I think he performed great at the World Cup as well. Hopefully he can just keep going and score some more goals for us because he is very important for us as a team."
