Manchester United assistant manager Mike Phelan has welcomed new signing Jadon Sancho.
Sancho's move from Borussia Dortmund was confirmed this morning.
Phelan said: “We're looking that he'll bring some sort of cutting edge to us, a little bit of something different.
“Manchester United has been brought up on wide players, players that play with width, but also players that can commit on one v ones, open up areas for other players and be creative high up the field.
“So we feel, at such a young age, he has those qualities. Premier League experience he needs, even though he has done quite a bit in his career already.
“So we just think that Jadon, playing well, could be really constructive for us, really creative and maybe unlock those doors we've found difficult to do."
