Manchester United signing Morgan Schneiderlin has hailed new boss Louis van Gaal, claiming the Dutchman was a key part in his decision to join United.
Schneiderlin joins United from Southampton for around £25million and is certain that Van Gaal can make him one of the world´s best midfielders.
He told MUTV: "He´s a massive manager who has trained the best teams in the world and when I spoke with him, he wants big Manchester United and his team."
The Frenchman could hardly contain his excitement at joining the Red Devils and is hoping to continue improving: "... I know that I will get better because I'm going to play with better players and one of the best managers in the world."
Schneiderlin was also quick to acknowledge the fans of former club Southampton, though, saying: "I say thank you to all the Southampton people there because they helped me come through a lot of things and helped me to progress as a player."
