Man Utd midfielder Van de Beek appreciates relationship with fans: I can't explain it

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is confident of his relationship with the club's support.

Van de Beek is a popular figure with the fans and he will look to feature in our next outing, the Carabao Cup tie against Burnley before Christmas, after being part of the squad that took part in a training camp in Spain last week.

A full Old Trafford," he told manutd.com. "I just can't explain it. It's just a nice experience and a nice feeling.

"It [the fans singing my name] always gives you confidence and a good feeling. Yeah, it's really nice and it gives you more energy. I just try to do my best and give everything and it gives a good feeling that they like me. I try to give them as much as possible that I have."

Van de Beek found it difficult to pick out one individual game as his best experience, and he will hope for an appreciative audience for the team when United take on Burnley in the Caraba Cup and then Nottingham Forest, in the first Premier League match following the restart.

“That's a hard one," he said, when asked to choose the most memorable atmosphere. "Many, many games – I can't say really one. Most of the time, it's an amazing atmosphere in the stadium, when we play at home. And the away fans as well.

"I have to say, every time, you can hear them, even in the game, and that's a good sign and a nice feeling."
