Manchester United and Manchester City continue to monitor Wesley Sneijder's situation at Inter Milan.
The Daily Star says Sneijder could still be on his way to the Premier League, after the midfielder's agent laughed off interest from Turkish side Galatasaray.
Both Manchester City and United are thought to be desperate to land the Dutchman this month, who has fallen out with Inter over a contract dispute.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson attempted to bring Sneijder to Old Trafford in the summer and will almost be certain to renew his interest.
But rivals City are also likely to bid for the playmaker, after apparently ruling out a new move for Roma star Daniele De Rossi.
