Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly rejected Manchester United's bid of £50 million for Mason Mount.
The Red Devils upped their offer for Mount, who only has a year remaining on his contract.
Per the Evening Standard, some at Old Trafford are now worrying about missing out on the England international.
While United boss Erik ten Hag is eager to secure Mount as his top transfer target, United will not pay over the odds.
The Blues are asking for a fee in the region of £70 million for the 24-year-old.
Other sources, including The Athletic, have stated that a compromise could be reached.
