Manchester United have lodged a bid for Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan, according to reports.
David De Gea's contract has now entered its final season and United have begun to actively seek a replacement for the Spaniard.
Maignan has become one of those targets, with the Daily Record reporting that United have held initial discussions with the Ligue 1 club.
Christophe Galtier's side want €35m for the 23-year-old, who was named best goalkeeper in Ligue 1 this season.
After naming him in France's squad for their upcoming Euro qualifiers, Les Bleus boss Deschamps said: "Maignan is part of a team which achieved a superb championship.
"He oozes serenity, his athletic presence is impressive."
Standing at 6ft 3in, Maignan came through the ranks at PSG before moving to Lille in 2015.
