Manchester United defender Alvaro Fernandez does not have any permanent clause in his Granada loan deal.
The left-back signed for the Spanish club on deadline-day, despite United having an injury crisis in that position.
While the defender is not going to be at United this term, he may still have a future at the club.
“Manchester United rejected it [buy clause in the loan deal] and no agreement was reached," he told reporters.
On his loan experience at Preston last season, he added: “Last year I had a different coach who played 3-5-2. I feel like a left-back.
“I have spoken with Paco [Lopez - manager] and he has told me that he is prepared for anything."
